2020 still has a bitter sweet taste. Challenges have come and gone. Nonetheless without a doubt, once again, it has been proven that fundamentals and principles simply don’t change. This year the battleground has been set between the tech that helps us in every degree, yet alienates us in various ways. Hereby my personal observances:

No matter how skilled an introvert or ambivert you are, we all need real world social interactions and friends. People might talk through the virtual ,but the physical presence of any person is just as important. Subtle nuances and body languages cannot as of yet be replicated in the digital realm. A medium remains a medium and not the original ora. Ironically in today’s digital world we desire pure honest direct human interaction.

Health is of the essence. Not only the emotional but physical. Appreciating the outdoors and being able to roam freely has become a rejuvenating experience .Personally I’ve kicked caffeine to the underground and resurrected my jogging gear. I’ve learnt to celebrate my freedoms, expressions and connectedness to the outside world!

In addition to all this year our Information barrier thresholds was breached and we have become uncomfortable with letting any external source interfere with our right to privacy and personal sovereignty. We need at the minimum , the perception of democracy without interference of institutions realized in our lifetime. Newly created personal information is bound to our intellectual rights as people of the new era.

In conclusion: Even if the barriers between tech fade and advances in human brain interfaces are made…We will forever stay inevitable part of, if not entirely human. We slowly integrate and fundamentally at the base are naturally created and fragile humanoids.
